Witches have been transgressors and thorns at the side of patriarchal authority throughout time and in many different cultures. The Greek witch is no different. In this presentation, Stefanos Chelydoreus seeks to share magical methods to deal with our oppressors and resist their hateful power. By drawing on historical sources, oral folk traditions, and spirit-guided innovation, we will construct a set of practices ranging from protections to baneful work – rooted in the context of Greek witchcraft – to navigate the tumultuous times we live in.
